This site is built to respect your data plan and your privacy. Here is everything it collects.
Who is responsible. Mike Oladapo operates this site. Questions or requests about information described here can be sent to hello@mikeoladapo.com.
Analytics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites. I use those aggregate page counts to see which essays, products, and service pages are useful. On the current plan, the site does not record individual button clicks or form submissions through Vercel. The site also uses Vercel Speed Insights, which measures how quickly pages load on real devices and connections, so I can keep the site light on Nigerian mobile data. It reports performance timings rather than personal profiles. No advertising trackers, fingerprinting, or third-party ad scripts are used.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to the essays, your email address is stored by Buttondown, the service that sends them. It is used to send a subscription confirmation and new essays and useful notes. After you confirm your email address, you can download The Five Questions guide. Newsletter essays include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future newsletter emails; retention or deletion of the subscriber record follows the account settings and Buttondown's policies.
Enquiry form. If you use the enquiry form, it is hosted and stored by Zoho Forms rather than on this site. It asks for your email address, your product or business website, what is going wrong or which repeated task needs improving, when you need a decision, and any budget range you want to name. I use those answers to judge whether I can help and to reply, normally within two business days. Please leave out passwords, keys, customer records and anything else confidential; the form is not a secure channel for them. There is no booking, no charge, and no newsletter signup attached to it, and submitting it does not add you to any mailing list. Entries stay in that Zoho account only as long as the conversation is useful. Ask at hello@mikeoladapo.com and I will delete yours.
Email. If you email hello@mikeoladapo.com, I use the message to respond to you. It is stored and processed by the email services involved in sending and receiving it.
Business outreach. During limited one-to-one outreach, I may record a public corporate contact, where I found it, and why the message was relevant. I do not buy contact lists. I use the record only to manage the conversation and reasonable follow-up. You can reply no thanks at any time. I will stop and keep only the minimum note needed to avoid contacting you again.
Everything else. There are no accounts on this site, no cookies set by this site, and no personal data sold. Newsletter, enquiry form and email data are handled as described above.
